Abstract
The magnetic field of underground single-circuit 330 kV cable line with ferromagnetic shield of various configurations – from plane shield and shield rounded at its ends to closed round shield covering the cable line is studied. The features of magnetic field distribution near the cable line and its shield as well as on the top of the ground are analyzed. As shown by computations, the most effective shielding is provided with closed round ferromagnetic shield. References 8, figures 6.
